After completing our collaboration activity for the exhibit we had some free time, I decided to have the students do a pass the paper activity which would combine both collaboration and creativity. I had students sit at their tables where 3-5 students sit, I then had the students put their names at the top of their papers. Students would start the activity with their own papers, they would draw a line on the paper and then the group would pass the papers to the right, each student would add a line to the paper in front of them until their paper came around twice. Students then took their original paper and markers and made the line drawing into something. When students added the lines they all used a black marker, the exercise could be varied by having students each use a different colored marker so that each individuals' line would be seen.
